Found this while looking into an alternative to flash comm for one of my clients.
From the red5 site:
Red5 is an Open Source Flash Server written in Java that supports:

Thing is Red5 actually lives up to there promises. From the demo’s, lists, users, etc it’s looking like a nice option. I’ll be testing it for an upcoming flash project : 5 simultaneous live event streams with chat.
So expect a how to and follow up on this.
