I’ve gotta client that i do stats and sitemap work for from time to time. I installed mint last week, maybe around wed.
Since then he got about 16000 page views - just from wed to sun : WTF!
Thing is they sell adult toys, thats it just adult toys! with that type of traffic i’m starting to think maybe i seriously need to make a adult site - lol. hell i’ve been thinking about making a tut on making an adult site in a week using open source, but that was because after reading theres something like 2000 new adult sites per day (yeah i know seriously), figured all those sites might need someone to tell em how to do it.
guess i should make it clear i don’t, and have never had any adult site clients, but with those numbers, i think i might seriously need to start looking at that industry. i mean come on. i worked a underground magazine site thats pulling almost the same numbers at 2gig of bandwidth per day, and it’s been in business and online for like what? 5-7 years?
I never quite understood how much sex truly sells, but looking at mint and seeing my clients site has over 16,000 hits a week? thats 480 a week in ad revenue , and thats on the cheap end. so as you can imagine, i’m about to recommend he start displaying ads. lol.
can’t wait to see valentines day traffic, or secretary day *wink wink* lol.
