		<description>Nice tutorial. I was trying to compile the source for another site. waste of 2 hours. you really made it simple. 
The only problem is I have no idea how do you  "recompile with shared libraries" if you've installed through yum. I understand that yum is a rpm manager and rpm --recomplie only supports Global options none of which include --enable-shared.</description>
