One time while on vacation it took me about a week and a half to get a contract back to a client. Why? because i was in the middle of no where without fax , printer, or scanner.
Since then i make sure that i have a signature image accessible. just print out a document with a signature line and you name under it. Sign it and scan in at high res. It’s a completely except able form of signature, and half the time, no one even notices the difference (although i make sure i let them know).
It’s completely taken the hassle out of signing nda’s and contracts, because the biggest hassle for me is fax them out. I open, read, make any notes or changes, attach my signature image, and email. Done!
