I recently had to do a fresh install because suddenly wmc wasn’t able to download guide updates, and pretty much the only reason for using vista are my tv tuner drivers.
While installing avg free, suddenly i got a message saying that wmc wasn’t able to download the guide updates. I stopped the install and avg rolled back any changes. Wmc was able to once again download guide updates.
Weird, is this only with avg free? I have clam win running and it doesn’t seem to effect anything. I’m thinking maybe it has something to do with it’s auto protection?
