The php.ini is located at : /etc/php.ini
DON’T edit the other one you find, it belongs to plesk
extensions are at: /usr/lib/php4

If you’ve upgraded to PHP5 through CGI the php.ini file for it is in /opt/php51/etc/php5/fastcgi/php.ini - this is also in the Media Temple help desk but thought it might be of use here too.
