I’ve been using open office for awhile now. I only used word for basic documents and contracts from clients so it more than suits my needs. I have a few quirks with it. mainly the fact that spell check doesn’t always correct capitalization and I haven’t been able to get base to open any of my open mdb files ,but I rarely to asp anymore.
overall if your like me and just need something to write basic things in it’s great. I’m sure it has alot more features, but I never use them. I should note it supports powerpoint as well.
If your using nix and dose it’s a good fit as it’s cross platform, for the mac to.
