opensuse 11 - how to use your new ipod

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I got a new ipod nano today after my old one got killed by a soda… yeah crappy luck.

opensuse 11 supports an ipod out the box, with one twist: If you ipod has no songs on it, nothing can use it. Exaile, banshee, gtkpod, etc will all complain or crash when you try to use your new ipod. Solution? Fire up itunes and put a few songs on your ipod. Thats is. Now your ipods good to go.
